Transmography: Fairytale Portraits of Queers Beyond the Gender Binary, by Najva Sol and Molly Crabapple.

Do we seriously need yet another painfully unoriginal and obnoxiously pretentious art project glorifying CAFAB trans* people and pointedly ignoring CAMAB trans* people? Because this hipster transmisogyny business is becoming more annoying by the second.
I’m really getting beyond sick and tired of this entire dynamic of the queer world catering to the dfab trans folks egos, while neglecting dmab trans folks, if they’re not flat out slapping us across the face and telling us about how messed up it is for us to even consider the possibility that we might be beautiful, sexy, or cool. Its frustrating because if their is any dmab trans person in this stuff they will mostly likely be binary-identified, white, thin, and traditionally feminine. And if they do differ from one of those categories, they definitely won’t differ from the oters.
